The award was presented to the Adani Group at the “Climate Action in India: Role of Businesses and Supply Chain” ceremony. The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry in New Delhi co-hosted this event.
With an extraordinary score of 11.3, the Adani Group is just a step away from being recognized as a company with negligible ESG risk by Sustainalytics. Of the total 16,215 companies that have been assessed and rated by Sustainalytics, APSEZ has received a 95 percentile score. This again reflects Adani Group’s strong commitment to improving environmental conditions.
Because of its extraordinary efforts, APSEZ has also maintained its position as one of the top-ranked companies in terms of low carbon transition ratings within the port sector. APSEZ has a 96 percentile score in the S&P Global Sustainability Assessment (CSA) 2023.
It has acquired this rank among the top 15 companies. It is also the only port operator in the entire list of 334 companies in the global transportation infrastructure sector.

Ashwini Gupta, the CEO of Adani Ports, has recently mentioned in an interview that the company has always been deeply committed to maintaining sustainability. Even amidst the Adani Investigation, the business group has always put 100% effort into reducing emissions.
